Dr. Jon, Larissa and little Kristina send us an urgent prayer letter from St. Petersburg. They ask us to pray and fast about a new law that is before the Russian congress. The bill would be very restrictive for Christians. For example:
1. Children under 14 would not be allowed to attend church without the express permission from their parents.
2. Missionaries would be restricted to preach/teach only within the Baptist church and only with a letter from their sending church and the dates they are to preach.
3. Access to schools, orphanages, or hospitals would be forbidden. No public witnessing.
We need to uphold our brothers and sisters in Christ and remember this could happen here. Please pray about this bill.

Dr. Jonathan and Larysa Zwingel and their new little girl Kristina need to be upheld in their prayers. Their church is growing and is seeing souls saved. In their last letter two women have joined the church because they wanted a solid Bible preaching church. Larysa has such bad pain in her back she cannot hold Kristina. She has two steel rods in her back, which press on two ruptured discs in her lower back. Finding a doctor in St. Petersburg is hard. Please pray.

Dr. Jon and Larysa Zwingel are starting their church in Russia. They will be having their first child in the spring. Jon was able to get a look at the baby through ultrasound images and said it was very exciting. They ask for prayer for a healthy baby. Their Study/Church has seen growth. They ask for prayer in learning the language and reaching out to the elderly and orphans.
